Product Overview

The AMAX Portable Fiber Laser Welding Machine brings professional-grade fiber laser welding capability to workshops, production lines, and on-site fabrication environments in a mobile, compact cabinet that can be positioned anywhere a standard 220V or 380V power supply is available.

Available in four power configurations — DH-1500W, DH-2000W, DH-3000W, and DH-6000W — the AMAX portable welder covers welding thicknesses from 0.3mm to 8mm across carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, galvanized steel, and special alloys. The compact 1,000×600×820mm cabinet on industrial castors requires no dedicated machine foundation — it rolls to the workpiece rather than requiring the workpiece to be brought to the machine.

Continuous high-power output with precise temperature control delivers consistent weld penetration, a small heat-affected zone, smooth surface finish, and uniform bead geometry — reducing or eliminating post-weld grinding and polishing in most applications. The water cooling system maintains stable laser source and welding gun temperature across extended production shifts.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How does the DH-6000W differ from the DH-3000W for everyday welding?

The DH-6000W delivers 6,000W of continuous output versus 3,000W — doubling the available power for applications requiring faster weld speed on thick material, or for demanding applications like new energy battery module welding and thick plate structural joints where sustained high power is critical. For most general fabrication up to 6mm, the DH-2000W or DH-3000W provides excellent performance and lower capital cost. The DH-6000W also requires 380V power versus 220V for the lower models

What welding gun comes with the machine and how does it connect?

Can the machine weld aluminium without distortion?

What shielding gas is required?

How does this compare to a conventional MIG welder for a fabrication shop?
